Some mirrors are attached with mastic or other kinds of construction adhesive, for example with epoxy or with liquid nails, and this can also create problems if the surface on which it is attached is not first prepped according to the recommendations of the manufacturer of the glue or adhesive. If you hang your mirror the way a painting in a frame is hung, then the hardware should be rated according to the weight of the mirror and the amount of weight that the hardware was designed to hold, so that the nails or wires used are adequate to support the weight of a mirror, which is normally a very heavy object.
Once your bathroom mirrors are safely and securely hung, be sure to clean them on a regular basis with a good glass and mirror cleaner, to ensure that they last a long time and give you the crystal clear utility you want in a good bathroom mirror.
